This blog is moving...

Due to 'technical issues' with my main website hosting company (they moved my site to a 'better' platform that unfortunately isn't compatible with my existing website.) I've decided to move my website to a new hosting company, the great result of this move is that I have loads of control over my website including automatically updating this blog.

Previously I had to come over to Blogger (when I remembered) and update this blog with any of the updates I've done over at RigsVille, unfortunately due to the pressure of work and family or more likely my old age, I would forget to update this blog (sorry!)

The new website will automatically push out those pesky RSS feed updates thus saving me (and my poor old memory) a job!

So, what does all this drivel mean? (get to the point!!) If you want to continue to get updates (freak!) then please update your blog reader, your bookmarks or however you remember this website so that it now point at the new RigsVille blog and not this one.

The new website can be found at http://www.rigsville.com

I'll catch you on the flip side.

Cotswold Motoring Museum

It's April already but due to the poor weather we have had this year this is the first time we have managed to get out and bag our first location in this year’s Grim Riders charity motorcycle challenge, this year’s theme is Motorcycle museums and legends.

Bob
Rig

Due to the severe cold weather Rig and Bob decided to just have a quick run down to the Cotswold Motoring Museum in Bourton-on-the-Water to get the ball rolling on this years challenge but only after first heading to Wellesbourne airfield and visiting our favourite cafe, Touchdown Cafe.

As usual there are a few extra pictures on the website.

The Grim Riders charity ride for 2013 involves visiting landmarks from two different rides and includes a variety of locations in England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland, as well as several in Belgium, France, Germany and the Czech Republic.

I've created a Google Map of all the locations and I will update this map as and when we visit these landmarks as well as posting photos and write-ups of our adventures this year on the main 2013 Bike Rides web page.

If your interested in helping raise money for charity and want a good excuse to get out on your bike, head over to the Grim Ridlers MCC website.

Breakfast at Queenswood Cafe in Hereford.

Queenswood Cafe is a lovely restored timber framed building that’s within the Queenswood Country Park in Hereford, its located almost halfway between where Bonzo and Ray live and where the rest of us live so it seemed to perfect place to arrange to meet up and have a breakfast!
